On Monday, April 29th, just after 5:30 pm the fire department was dispatched for a possible house fire in the area of Sealy St. & Addicks Rd. Once first due units arrived, it was determined that a landscaping pick-up truck was well involved in fire but was not near any homes. Engine 1 arrived on scene, stretched 1 line and started to knock the main body of fire. Engine 1-2 stretched a secondary line to assist and truck 1 gained entry to the cab and engine compartment of the vehicle. The fire was extinguished within 10 minutes. Good job by all crews.
