5-Corners Vehicle Extrication 5/7/23

On Sunday (5/7/23) around 10:30 am the Fire Department was dispatched for a vehicle extrication, due to an accident, at the intersection of Kinderkamack Rd and Westwood Ave. Arriving units informed the Rescue crew that the driver's door to the one vehicle needed to be taken off to remove the patient. Members on scene used the "Jaws of Life" to extricate the patient from the vehicle. Engine 1 was also on scene standing by incase the vehicle caught on fire.
